The main part of my creative work includes abstraction and expression. Abstract expressionism lets me dive into the deeper layers of my being and allows me to draw from within, while the implement figures as an extended arm that connects me with the pictorial surface and leads to the enmeshment with the picture. Mind, motorfunction and rhythm resonate with painting media, pictorial surface and ground and unite time and space while transforming it simultaneously. After the process of working and creating – which I can describe best as a journey – I feel liberated, transformed and elevated to a different position from where I had been at the outset.

In my other area of work
I express myself in surrealistic terms with symbols and impressionistic elements and often this work is triggered by a visionor a dream. My choice of image carrier, materials and implement grows intuitively out of the moment right before the process of work.
